Hi, hoping you can give me some direction. I have been reading posts and am wondering if you can recommend a good book to educate us about guns. For instance, I keep reading about frames, esp. K frames and I have no idea what you guys are talking about.

If you can recommend a book or website I would appreciate it.

THX!

PS
Finally figured out RKBA is Right to Keep and Bear Arms. That is the type of stuff I mean. Hate googling every post 10 times to try to figure it out.

THR is as good a place as anywhere. Read the threads and you will learn a lot. There are specialized forums, S&W, AR15, 1911, etc. where you can get a lot of background and knowledge.

Start here: http://thehighroad.org/library/

Here's another good site:

As far as K frames, that's a specific frame size from S&W. This link may help:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smith_Wesson
Scroll down a bit and it mentions J frames, K frames, N frames, etc.
