Just came across this thing:

Looks kinda cool, but almost no information about it. Anybody know who makes it? Anybody shoot one?

They are made by Cobray/FMJ, which used to be SWD. They are a handful to fire and are mainly a curiosity. They are cheap made. Manual safety is a pain to operate. I wouldn't use one for self defense.
Here is mine in .45LC/.410.

I think I'd rather have a flare gun for SD!

My brother has one in .410/.45 Colt. I don't know if he still does now or not, but he used to keep it in a holster that was attached just behind the steering wheel, under the steering column of his patrol car. He called it his "Get this M.F.er off of me" gun.
Interesting thing about those guns is that if you set the selector switch that's in the top of the hammer in the middle, it'll fire both barrels at once. My brother has done this very thing with his. And even though he's a big ol' boy with strong hands, it stood straight up in his grip. ( He's 6 ft 6 and weighs about 230#, btw )
Might not be the best defense gun in the world, but if you keep it as a "car gun", it should certainly scrape a BG off your car door and buy you enough time to get to your primary weapon.

I have that gun and here are my impressions.
The good: I load it with a .433 ball with a .020 patch on top of 25 to 28 grains of pyrodex p. This makes it powerful enough to deter the average bad guy.
The Bad: The safety doesn't work. You could use a screw to block the hammer but that is too much of a jerry riggin for most folks.
The Ugly: Well just look at it.
Bottom line: I probably wouldn't buy another one.
