I'm not sure but arnt they supposed to have 5 American made parts and is one the stock..I want to change my stock but only if i can do it legally...Any suggestion on places online to buy Sar-1 parts ect..thanks

I dont really like the wood look i would like to go with metal or something

The five US parts are the pistol grip, hammer, trigger, disconnector, and gas piston. The wood stocks are foreign, and can be changed at will.

I should add that it's not the number of US parts that counts, it's the number of foreign parts that matters. You can't have more than 10 Evil Foreign Parts.

If you add a foreign muzzle break, that brings you up to 11 Evil Foreign Parts, and that would be "bad", or something.

Yes. Or add a foreign muzzle brake after you've replaced one of the other foreign parts with a US part (buttstock or handguards, usually).

RPBusa has some sweet US made fake folding stocks that are nice. Got to handle one at their booth at a gunshow since they're local here, very sweet.
