I received an e-mail this morning from 'TreeApron.com' informing me that my name had been drawn as a winner of the following product sold on their site:
http://tinyurl.com/3aygt3
Of course I was ecstatic to learn that I'd been so incredibly lucky as to have won something that I'd otherwise have to shell out $14.99 to acquire, even though they expected me to pay the standard shipping & handling before they'd send it to me. Of course, I didn't let the fact that the product is a 15-cent plastic squeeze bottle that comes with maybe 10 cents worth of talcum powder (or whatever the "highly-visible, ultra-light, scent-free molecules" compose) damper my elation over my good fortune.
And here I thought charging $2 for 16 oz. of bottled water required chutzpah.
