If you haven't heard of these, don't feel bad, they're fairly new.

Look for the ROA bullet.

I haven't tried them yet, but it really seems to be an excellent bullet. The Cowboy Action Shooters that post on the SASS Wire talk very highly about them.

if you haven't tryed Lee's slug for your C&B revolver you should. I've been shooting the .45 REAL in my ROA with great results.

Yeah, I used the REAL bullets in my 1858 revolver, shot pretty well really but were hard to load in it. Of course try at your own risk.
