Well I finally bit the bullet and bought a XD9sc for concealed carry. Took it directly to the range and fired 150 rounds. Some quick fire excercises and some slow fire. Not a single problem, even though the gun has not yet been cleaned.

I was surprised at how accurate and easy to shoot this little sc is. I already own a 9mm Service model and thought I would loose some accuracy with the shorter barrel. Surprisingly, the sc shoot nearly as good as the Service.

I'm really happy with the purchase. BTW, I got the stainless slide and it looks really nice.

Love mine, too --- but the sights sorta sucked. A small ball mill in a pin vise and some white enamel paint make a world of difference!

I put TFOs on mine.........that's the hot ticket. Great gun.
