Hello all,


I need a gun cabinet. Something cheap that will easily store 5 rifles/shotguns and 6 handguns and still have room for accessories.

I want something that locks but I am not looking for security, because anything that would actually work in deterring a thief would cost too much. Trying to stay under $150.

Basically I want to get my guns off the closet floor, anyone got any ideas?

There are plenty of good locking cabinets for that price at Walmart or your local sporting goods store

I have one of those cheap-o "Stack-on" cabinets. It holds 8 rifles and has a shelf in the top for handguns or accessories. Can't remember where I got it, but it seems that it was around $100. It's not going to keep a determined thief out, but it worked well to keep roommates and their friends out while I was in college. I later bolted a small safe on the top for more handguns. Now, its been modified with more shelves and is used for ammo storage. You'll always find something to do with it after you get something better, so you'll surely get your money's worth.
