Dang it cotton, you're makin me drool on the keyboard. Recently picked up a mechanically solid but externally rough 26-1; my first N Frame and I really like it. That 3" 625-3 truly is a sweet piece. Congrats on the great find.

I used to have one just like it, except I had Craig Spegel Boot Grips in Brazilian Rosewood added to it. I wish I never had to sell it, but what can you do. I was really broke at the time, had a lot of debt, and something had to go. The 625 was sold because I hardly ever shot it or carried it, now I wish I had it back. I'm pretty sure I still have a pic of it somewhere. I'll dig it up and post it if you'd like to see what it would look like with nice wood boot grips. I really liked the look and feel of the boot grips.
It's a nice revolver, enjoy it, take care of it, and don't ever sell it, I guarantee you'll regret it if you do.

I found the pic of the one I used to have.

Nice piece, 45 Colt or ACP, I almost got one in 45Colt. I settled for a Taurus 45 Colt instead, I have since sold that Taurus because I had a bad case of Iwannanothergun virus.
It is one of the few I regret selling.

Looked at the pics again and see the moonclips peeking out, nice gun.

What loads are you planning to use in it.

Tasco, I wish I could have got mine for $325.00! I paid twice that! I have only shot some 200 grain lead round nose in it with 4.5 grains of Unique, had a few problems with burned powder under the extractor so I may try another powder to fix the problem. But it is a very good shooter from what I can tell.
