That's a 100+ year-old gun? Wow...
Also kind'a interesting how it has the modern, "smokeless" frame, with the spring-loaded cross-bolt holding the cylinder pin in place.

I think this gun was probably made in 1906 judging by the knurling pattern on the hammer spur and the serial number. I have been wanting to get a letter from Colt since it is in such nice condition but haven't busted out and spent the cash on it yet.

How'd you like this pair. NIB ivory handled and consecutive serial numbers. Belong to a friend of mine. Never even had the cylinders turned.

It's a good thing I don't have a computer camera. I'd hate to have people see a grown man crying for lack of his own Colt single action. Some day, I too will be able to post here. :(
