Over the decades I've been shooting, I've lost touch with a couple of my shooting buddies from days of yore (mainly 1960s to mid-1970s) and I'd like to see if any are still around.

I'm trying to give just enough information here so they'll know who they are if they read this, but not enough to "blow their cover" (or my own, for that matter) if they're on THR:

(1) -- Initials WPS or BS - Lived in quonset huts at CU. Owned a Belgian BP shotgun, FN49 in .30-06. Wrote a couple of shooting articles with me. Moved to Honolulu.

(2) -- Initials HF - Attended CU with me. Lt. Cmdr in Reserves. Spouse Martha at the time. Sponsored my NRA membership (needed a sponsor to join in those days.)

(3) -- Initials BM or WM - Lived in quonset huts at CU. Provided equipment, advice on my first adventure into high-power big bore target shooting.

(4) -- Initials DW or RW - Qualified for Colorado Handgun Hunting License at my private range. Worked for Big Blue, had an Auto Mag and introduced me to Handgun Metallic Silhouette competion at the Coal Creek Range (now gone) near Superior/Lafayette.

If you fit any of the above deliberately sketchy descriptions, please PM me and we can update each other.

I checked with Mr. Volk and this subject is OK for a thread --or perhaps even a sticky.
