died in committee.

The reason it died is because Senator McPherson
changed his vote from a YES to a NO.

NOTE: Technically, AB 50 was granted
re-consideration, but it doesn't appear
it can actually be heard again. The bill would
again have to clear all
policy committees, but none are scheduled.
Accordingly, we believe the
earliest AB 50 could return is next year.

I would like to take a moment to thank you for voting AGAINST AB50. I am given to understand that your vote was critical in the demise of this bill and I truly appreciate it.

I do not own an item of this nature, nor does anyone I know (except for one swat cop who I do a website for) however, the PRINCIPLE of allowing people to be armed and the standard of personal choice and freedom are of critical importance to me.

Sir, you have stood for those things and on behalf of the three voters in this home, I want to thank you for taking what is not the usual stand for California politicians.
