I have an 11-87 Light Countour that I dearly love. It is a great duck, squirrel, rabbit, etc. gun. I deer hunt in an area that only allows the use of shotgun slugs and would like to put a cantilevered scope mount rifled barrel on it. Will I have any problems with it being a light contour model. The only thing that I thought might happen would be the forend would be a little tight in the barrel channel.

I guess the easiest thing to do would be to ask Remington for their advice. Their on-line support center (http://remington.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/remington.cfg/php/enduser/home.php) is a good place to start.
