Hello all...

I've decided to purchase a Bulgarian Makarov for my primary carry pistol. However, I've never seen this pistol other than pictures on the net. Can anyone tell me how big this pistol is... dimensions and weight? I currently carry a Grendel P-12, and I'm hoping that the Makarov is similar in size and weight.

Thanks!

Tom

It's been a while since I've held a grendel, but it seems to me that it's about the same size as a Mak. As far as weight, the Mak will not be as light, since it is all steel. On the bright side, this makes the Mak one sturdy little pistol!

I have two EG maks and they can be haevey and large for the caliber. Also take a look at a Bersa thunder 380, it is much lighter, points better, has better sights and has a better mag release with a similar price . Bren
