ok guys traded for this the other day and don't know much about it, other than it is a model 10-7, nickel plated, 2inch 38 special.
serial number is AEFXXX what can you all tell me about these guns.

i trade a S&W model 22a1 for it staright across, did i do ok?
also can you tell me what the value of it moght be? will try and get pics up as soon as i can .
anywhere i can get the date of MFG on it.

Straight trade getting a 10-7 for a 22A sounds like you came out on top assuming the gun is in good shape. It was likely made in 1984. As for background on the gun it's a model numbered continuation of the S&W Military & Police Hand Ejector. These guns, in one form or another, have been in continuous production since 1899.
