Gents,

I have to show off the grips Hakan Pek has made for me. They are for a 1911, flame birch, with the "Shadow" pattern. Absolutely beautiful! I cannot wait to get them here and put them on my Kimber .38 Super. Should make for a fine looking package. If you want some custom grips at an excellent price, Hakan is the man!

I got my grips from Hakan, and they are now at home on my .38 Super Pro Carry. The fit is perfect, and they are just a bit slimmer than the rubber grips Kimber provides. This makes for a more comfortable grip, as does the stipling on the shadow pattern. I am VERY pleased. If you want some beautiful grips for a great price, I highy recommend him.

Hakan's grips are one the main reasons I want a CZ :D

My two bits' worth: he's a pretty decent guy to do business with.

My Hakan grips are beautiful. Last time I went to the range the guy at the check-in commented on the grips and kept playing with my gun because he had never felt a CZ 75B with anything but the factory grips (he really liked them). I just wish I had a halfway decent digital camera so I could post a pic.

A buddy of mine also bought a pair of grips from Hakan for his CZ 85Combat and he seems more than pleased. They look every bit as nice as mine.

Zundfolge, if you have a 1911 you don't have to wait to buy a CZ to have the privilege of owning a pair of Hakan's grips. He makes them for 1911s and even though I really like the rosewood checkered grips I have on mine right now I am thinking about ordering a set of 1911 grips from Hakan.

this was posted by me on the 1911forum.

i fully recommend grips by hakan.

hello,

for those wondering of the cost of the postage to norway, for example, my expense in shipping a pair of grips to hakan by airmail was around $3.00. it took approximately 5 days to reach norway from california.

He is very prompt on shipping. He was trying to beat my birthday as these are a gift from my wife, and did so with weeks to spare. First time I ever ordered anything from outside the US, and it went without a hitch.

Sorry for the late response folks...I truly appreciate the kind comments of my work..they're very encouraging...thanks again.:)

I too look forward to see chaim's cocobolo grips on his own gun...this is how they looked on mine.

I hope we get to see Grayrider's new 1911 Shadow's on his gun soon :)

Hakan.

My picture taking abilities are pretty poor, but I would like to shoot some pics to show off my Kimber. I will do that this weekend and see how they turn out. I don't want to hurt Hakan's business any if my photography skills continue to prove challenged!
