IWB or OWB….Which do you prefer?

I’ve been using one of these exclusively but want to switch so I’d like to know which you prefer and WHY?


IWB or OWB

I like OWB better. The holsters I use hug the body and move with me. IWB I have to be careful not to print.

I prefer OWB for speed and comfort. When concealment is the main factor, IWB is definately better. I use both depending on the circumstances and clothing.

I use IWB exclusively. Have for years. A good holster makes all the difference in the world. :)

I use OWB. I'm too skinny for IWB and they rub me raw. IWB is fine for folks with a larger paunch. My OWB's hug my body well and are quick to draw from.

I'm an OWBer. Way more comfort and the gun hugs almost as close as would an IWB.

I carry both ways but actully prefer pocket carry. I voted for IWB as it is my second most used method

It really depends on the situation. I think OWB is much more comfortable than IWB myself. When I carried my 1911 around the house I found it was much more comfortable in an OWB holster than the IWB I had. However it was much less concealable.
