Device works very well as far as function.

Device is designed & made very well

Aims semi-good and it really spits the OC out well.

Interesting device ... IMO, as it uses a "captive piston concept".Same general design as the russian cyanide gas guns and others like AAI QSPR tunnel rat rounds,Russian PSS pistol,etc....

OC blend is HOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a bit in the eyes as always seems to happen when playing with OC items.

IMO..A fair device for use on dogs that chase me on my bike.:D

As far as use on humans well it is still OC and it does have to be aimed ....so IMO Not a real good choice for use on people.

Also,I thought it could maybe be mistaken for a type of firearm and get ya shot.

As far as a great gadget for a collection :thumbup::thumbup

I just bought my wife one of those. The size of the splatter pattern is encouraging. I had been a bit worried from the "training video" that the liquid didn't disperse much.

I keep it in my car for backup, since I figure the Texas heat won't deteriorate the pyro charge as it would a pressurized can. I keep Fox 5.3 on my keychain and a Spyderco Civilian in my waistband. Someday I'll have my CHL, but till then I feel I'm not entirely helpless.

Thanks for the review. I'm not sure I'm following you on these comments, though. Why would it not be a good choice to use on humans? Are the streams too fine, that it would be too easy to miss?

It does require that the device be aimed and it can be real easy to miss with it.
A partner tested one and he shot well over the same general size target at 10 feet with just a few droplets hitting the "head" target,the second shot soaked the target about the same as in my pic above.

It only has 2 shots so you are limited.A can at least has a few more shots.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm curious, though - given the challenge of hitting a target with this thing, how could you feel confident in using it on dogs that chase you on your bike? Looks like a spray can would be much more likely to hit a lightning fast, bobbing canine in the head (at a high rate of speed).

I'm wondering at what this device is really that good for.

I was just trying to say, at best ...It is a "fair" device for a dog .

I am confident that I could hit a dog in the face while on my bike,that does NOT mean anyone else can would or should try to use one for a dog repellent.That was just the use I saw as far as ...If I was to carry one myself.

I said this based on its close range needle effect... a blast at under 2 feet in a dogs face would force OC into the inside of the eyes and skin.IMO-All but a trained attack type dog would stop.

As far as to what it good for ? :)
