do Swiss 7.5x55 GP11 and/or Greek HXP 30-06 haver crimped primers? I cant seem to find the answer anwhere, I'd like to know before I order my 7.5x55 dies so I can save shipping and get an RCBS Primer Pocket Swager kit (looks like it would be the fastest and easiest way to get rid of the crimps to me) at the same time if I need it.Thanks.

The Swiss ammo is going to have a Berdan primer, you won't be able to reload it.

Greek is crimped, standard practice for military rounds. It's no big deal to remove the crimp if you have the right tool(s) for the job.

yeah, I totaly forgot gp11 was berdan primed.poop.memory's slipping in my old age.As for the crimped primer pocket, is this RCBS kit worthwhile http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/447022 , or should I save $10 or so and just get a deburring tool and do it that way?

But, you can buy berdan primers to reload the Swiss brass with.

I've reloaded well over 1000 GP11 cases, and the three marks around the primer pocket are not a problem.

jrfoxx, I've used the RCBS tool for many years. It works great, way quicker than using a deburring tool. I can loan you mine if you want to try one out before buying one.
