I noticed that the Vendor is in Italy. Given that shooters in Europe tend to be wealthy, this makes more sense. If you have oodles of money and ammo is ridiculously expensive, why not buy a silly crystal display case for it?

Personally, I prefer surplus ammo cans at $5 a pop

If there is a market, more power to them. If I was going to go into the ammo box business , and I had the choice to make little plastic containers or super high end boxes, I would choose the latter.

It is like the choice between selling foam cups to the dollar store or selling crystal wine glasses to Mikasa. Way more money to be had in the higher end items.
