Hey, those of you who have the Badger grips for you colts, did you have to wait long for them to arrive? I didnt know if it was like 'Beltman' where he makes your leather carry belt when you order, and he says it will be roughly 3 weeks. Are the Badgers already made and ship quickly, or does he make them when you place an order? Thank, Kevin.

Hey Kevin,

Jim Badger does keep some in stock. Give him a call. he is great to work with. The set I have on my Colt Lawman were special order because I wanted "boot grips" and he doesn't stock boot grips for the Colt J frame. Even though they were made to order, I had them in a couple weeks.

Hey Tex, thanks. Whats the difference between the gips he offers on his site, and the boot grips you had him make?

Kevin,

He makes boot grips for the D frame as listed on his website. The ones I had him make are just like that (open bottom) but for the J frame.

Can't remember how long I had to wait. Shipping wasn't lightning-fast, but it wasn't more than a couple of weeks.
