223 Reming 62g FMJ load question

I am loading 62g FMJ's with cannelure. Powder is 24.5g of Winchester 748. Speer book calls for OAL of 2.250". When I load to this length, the cannelure is just outside the casemouth, but none of the cannelure is inside the case mouth.
Is this a problem?
Can I safely load this to a shorter OAL to get the cannelure inside the case mouth?

According to the Winchester (Hodgdon) site, the max for 748 is 25.5 @ 2.120", so no problems if you want to push them on in to crimp in the cannelure.

Be aware that the OAL they're giving you is a maximum for working in mags. Shorter is ok, you might see some degradation of accuracy with a bigger jump to the rifling....but then again you might not.
You're OK to push 'em down to the cannelure.
