[Knapsack]

I have a Winchester 1400 MKII that I am looking at for someone. It is having ejection problems. What I have found is that when the barrel is fitted to the receiver the gas ports are not lined up correctly. Easily fixed by tapping the gas tube/magazine back into the receiver. My problem is that looking at breakdowns of the gun there is a "Forend Spacer (O-Ring)" Listed. This gun did not have one of these when I got my hands on it. I have purchased one and cannot figure out where it goes in the gun. Everything is fit and tight. Where does this O-Ring go?
