I just bought at Bass Pro a Spyderco Centafonte 3.

Like this: http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=24
although the product number is C66PBK3, which I assume is a special product number for Bass Pro (but the same product as C66BK ?).

Anyways, how did I do?

Looks nice. I bought it to be another EDC knife that could be used in an emergency if necessary, and maybe even for SD. Basically to be a substitute for my Benchmade Griptillians.

Is this a good knife? Good design?

Yes.

Yes.

The Centofante 66 P(lain)B(lac)K 3 is the designation for the plain edged drop point with a black handle. Not a BasPro designation. The ...4 model is a Wharncliff blade.

A "gentleman's knife" is intended to mean more refined lines, lighter weight, not designed for heavy cutting choirs. The Centofante is a pretty handy knife, but a sharpened pry bar it ain't.

I have one.
I like it a lot. The blade is nice and thin. It has good steel. the handle is comfortable and attractive even though it's only FRN (plastic). It's not too big and not too small. It's not perfect, there's that little bump over the hole that comes to a point, it should be rounded off. But that's the only problem.
