Has anyone out there tried Mitch Rosen leather? I was just curious about some feedback. His stuff looks very nice, but it's VERY pricey. Was wondering if anyone finds him worth the price?

Definitely. In my opinion, his stuff is the best there is. I use his holsters exclusively.

KMKeller,

How would you compare his stuff to, say, Milt Sparks? I've seen Sparks' stuff, and I'm having a hard time imagining something that's significantly better--and worth the price.

Thanks,

Honestly, you have to see it to believe it. Mitch's express line holsters are better than most peoples top of the line. His fully boned holsters are works of art. Everything is hand boned and fits perfectly.

Thanks for your reply! I'm considering a USD or an ARG right now...but the Sparks VM-2 also is quite nice...

I've never used the holsters but the belt that I got from them is top notch.

Can't go wrong. :) I use Mitch's leather gear exclusively. :) I bought a "Workamn" a few years back and was so impressed with the quality and fit of his work, I've ordered 4 more pieces since then as well as 3 more for a friend of mine:) (I didn't buy them - not that good of a friend:p) i'll likely be ordering another in the enar future.
One great thing about him, is he'll work with you if you have a unique request. I wanted his "Sport" model for a Ruger single action. Said he'd work it up and try. Sure e'nuff, a few moths later, another impressive holseter was in my hands.

His stuff looks very nice, but it's VERY pricey. Was wondering if anyone finds him worth the price?

I proberley say this too often, it's true...You get what you pay for!;)

Thanks for your feedback, gentlemen.

I'm glad to hear that his prices are well justified!

And there in lies the rub....his stuff may be top notch but I would not spend what he asks when Sparks, Delfatti and Alessi, all top notch in their own right, give me all the choices I need for a lot less money....and when you look at Brommeland, Haugen, tucker, high noon, etc....you'll see there are loads of great custom choices for a lot less money...
