My Helle Eggen is one of the sharpest out of the box (tube) knives I have ever purchased. Helle has a great reputation amongst users & collectors of Scandinavian style knives.

I have an Eggen too. The laminated blades on these are amazing - like cutting with a laser - and they hold their edge well too. Straight out of the box it skinned and dressed three deer without any sign of needing a touchup, and it has barely needed touching up since.

A Helle Tor here. It dressed out 6 or 7 deer before I got scared and touched it up. Superb field knife.
