How about sometime we go to Sacramento and have a gun rights rally? Maybe one of us could organize something like that. I'm just thinking it would be a good idea.

Two good arguments against:

1) Protests are "done to death" by so many different groups (some clearly utterly nuts) that it doesn't help.

2) One anti infiltrator with a 22 could cause a PR nightmare from hell.

Now, that's not saying I'm entirely against.

I think the timing is wrong though for the next few months. During the next SIX months, there's going to be a pitched battle over access to the CCW records held by Cal-DOJ. If we can get that stuff, we'll be able to document the degree of gender and racial discrimination going on in the process.

THAT would give us something to protest.

Remember what happened when the Black Panthers tried that?

I'm not sure its a good idea for too many gun owners in CA to gather in a single place.

They hate us more than we hate them.

I agee, I'm not to big on the idea of the rally. There are just better methods out there for getting the word out & rallying the troops.
