As a proud owner of a glock 21sf, I really try to take care of my gun. I am aware that Glock has an unsupported chamber, and therefore avoid reloads.

Please comment on the quality of buffalo bore ammo by answer the following questions:

1.) Is this just some guy in his basement making reloads, or is this a serious company?
2.) Anyone have problems with overpressure in the 45 ACP?
3.) Anyone have experience with buffalo bore 230 grain 45 ACP in the glock 21? If so, what velocities did you get?

These questions were not meant as a slam against buffalo bore....i just want to make sure these are good enough rounds to trust my life to

thanks

Dude,
Don't post multiple threads and mark them as important. It's impolite.

Haha, agreed.

As far as Buffalo Bore, it is a serious company with a good reputation.
If your gun is a modern gun made by a decent manufacturer then you should have no problems with their ammo.

One word of caution, if Buffalo bore says to shoot a certain load only in certain firearms then listen to that advice...

although buffalo bore is great and I own much ammo from them, what's wrong with reloads?

Almost all 45 ACP's have an unsupported chamber and can handle +p pressures remember the 45 ACP is a low pressure round to begin with.

Many of us reload thousands of em every year without blowing up our guns!

Buffalo Bore is mostly geared towards hunting ammunition, high velocities with low pressures within SAAMI specs. They have a magic wand I think...:uhoh:

They are decently priced but you could get just as good of performance out of many other ammunition manufacturers at close to or many times less the price of what they want.

I use Corbon's DPX 185 gr +P and also Speer Gold Dot's 200 gr +P they are about the same price but in 45ACP I think they perform at least as good if not better, just make sure they feed well in your gun.

Don't worry about the unsupported chamber just don't double charge reloads and you shouldn't have a KB
