I have some 180 grain xtp and 180 gr lazer cast truncated bullets. I wanted to loads some of these for hunting deer with 14-14.5 grains of lil Gun.

Is this pistol strong enough for this load?

The pressure looks light based on published load data.

I can't speak to that exact load, but assuming you're going out of published data a Trooper Mk. III should be more than strong enough. They're bigger than a K frame magnum.

The low pressure is what Lil gun is known for, it gives great velocities and low pressure. Some people say it sufers in accuracy but I have no problem with mine.
