I ordered bullets from them 2 weeks ago...placed the order over the phone and was told the bullets were in stock....
Now, after two weeks with no bullets, I've tried calling three times to get a shipping confirmation.....
No one answers the phone.
No one returns any messanges left.
No one replies to the e-mail address.

Sorry to hear that! I bought a box of 500 FMJs a month or so ago without any problems from them. Maybe the owner's on vacation or something? Strange they would take the order and not move on it.

O.K.
after setting up my credit card account for on line access I've found that yes indeed, I was billed $60 on 9/20.
So it hasn't quite been two weeks yet....I guess I should heed my advice to another forum member and chill out.
It would be such a good business practice to simply respond to my e-mail....but they do seem to be somewhat of a mom and pop shop and the owners may have day jobs.
Hmmmm!
withholding judgement for now.....:scrutiny:

That's the beauty of credit cards... if you don't get your stuff, call the CC company and start a fraud case. I've only done it twice and both times the CC company made it very easy to do.

two weeks to the day and here it is.
Looks like Mr. Impatient hit the panic button. I guess with all the internet scammers out there, I've become very wary :scrutiny:.
Bullets look consistantly good.....
can't wait to get set up and going with them...
Responding to my e-mail would have been nice, but I guess I understand if their a small and lean outfit.

Golden West Brass is a "Father and Son" type operation. They only recently got a website up. Their only advertising prior to the website was in Shotgun News and word of mouth. I've been to their location a few years ago in person to pick up bullets. They're pretty much pumping out bullets day and night constantly. So even with the lack of advertising, they're not hurting for business.
Lots of guys in SoCal buy from them via pickup orders.

I don't know about a report per se, but, I bought 500 0.311" (for 7.62mm) 125grain FMJs from them and they work well in my AK/SKS and even my M44 7.62x54R. The price these guys charge for their bullets was what attracted me, even with lead surcharges and shipping and whatnot, it still comes out to 12 cents a bullet. If I were to go to one of the big retailers I'd probably have to buy soft points at over 20 cents a bullet. For just casual plinking and reloading for fun it's a no-brainer to buy from these guys. If only they made 0.323" bullets for 8mm Mauser!
