I recently took in all my the unwanted brass to the scrap dealer. Up until now I have never been popped for having any metal mixed in my brass scrap buckets. But that all changed do to Sellier and Bellot new brass plated ( they call it "copper washed" ) steel cased 9mm. Be sure to run a magnet over any S+B 9mm cases befor reloading or scraping, you can't tell difference with the naked eye.

Be careful out there, Ron

It has been unfortunately discovered by others: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=282620

It appears the brass brass does not have a "Q" or something that looks like a Q after the 9mm Luger headstamp. As much 9mm as I use I am putting a magnet in my tumbler. This stuff looks exactly like brass, not different color like bi-metal. Arrrghhh!
