Hi All

There is one of these up for sale locally for $450.00. If the gun is as good as the picture makes it out to be I think the price is a bit high. What do you think? Thank you for your help. Here is a picture of it.

That is a new model with a transfer bar, if the one you are looking at is a new model it would seem about right, an old model without the transfer bar would be worth much more.

Around here, a new one from the dealer would cost very little more than that so that sounds high for a used one, IMO.

That's more than I paid for a new one in Raleigh, NC

I bought one 18 months ago LNIB the .45 acp cylinder was still in its original unopened wraper, for $325 at a local store.

I just looked on Gallery of guns this is Davidsons website for firearms purchases.

I saw three shops in and around portland listed. when I plugged in the model 45/45 convertable blackhawk, davidsons had 4 in the 4 5/8" barrel and two of the local shops in portland were Davidsons sellers the price NIB fot this gun is $475.

Just bought one used, but like new, for $300, so that seems high. In my area folks buy them and find out 45colt is expensive to shoot and 45acp is not quite as accurate coming out of the same gun. So they move on. If you keep looking you will find a number of good used ones for sale.

I have a couple like that in stainless. I really like them. Only you can determine their worth to you.

If it's used - too high by a bit - $50 moe like it. If new - not bad.

I got mine NIB for $325 or $350 (can't remember). Bought 5 years ago.

This also ended up being a really terrific deal so many it isn't valid to your case? But I did pay a fair amount less than $450 for mine. It is a 5.5" Convertible .45 Colt/.45ACP model.
