Does anybody have any experience or information about the 1861 Springfield Rifled Musket they sell at Cabelas?

I have had several over the years,the newer ones are better than the first batch,,fun to shoot and I felt safer than shooting the orignals,,dont expect target accery out of it though..I still got a whiletail with one.

I have no experience with Cabela's model and can't even tell you who makes them for Cabelas. However, I shoot Pedersoli and it is a gem. You can get a Pedersoli from Cherry's or one of Pedersoli's other importers.
