I recently purchased a new CZ Kadet, and when I cleaned it for the first time, I used Outer's Crud Out. Unfortunately, it melted all the plastic parts! I know of 3 parts that were affected: grips, mag bases, and recoil spring guide rod. Has anyone done a detailed strip of a CZ75? If so, are there other plastic parts that might have been affected? (This is my first CZ, and I'm a bit apprehensive about performing a detailed strip myself.) Thanks for your help.

I had a batch of the Kadet guide rods made in stainless steel. P.M. me if you are interested.

Never had that problem and as far as I know the mag follower is the only other plastic part.
Must been some pretty bad stuff to hurt the plastic.

Like I said, it was Outer's Crud Out. I've never had any problems with it before. (Obviously, otherwise I wouldn't have used it on another gun.) In the past, I've used it on all of my Glocks without any problems. Go figure...
