View Full Version : will remington 11-87 barrels fit model 11 rem?

I have two rem mod 11s. i want to get a rifled barrel for one of them. will 11-87 rifled barrels fit the mod 11?

No way. And, the 11-87 is a gas action, the 11 a long recoil.

Check Numrich and Jack First for barrels.

hmmm, I don't know of anyone that made rifled barrels for model 11's. Hasting made some for the Browning A-5, but it uses a different ejector, so it isn't a simple interchange of barrels. Hasting did make a model 11 barrel (I had one), you might call them and ask if they have any parts left over to make you a rifled M11 barrel from a Br. A-5 barrel and a M11 barrel extension, who knows, they may have the pieces laying in a box somewhere?

OR...you could have a M11 barrel threaded for choke tubes (about $80) and use a rifled choke (extra cost) This is definately going to be cheaper.
But call and push hastings a little. Surely they have a M11 barrel extension they could put on a A-5 barrel (which they still make)
