Where did you have in mind? I am not too far from Blue Ridge or the NRA range. I wouldn't mind meeting at a outdoor range with 100 + yards to sight in a new scope.

NRA is fine.

I don't go to Blue Ridge anymore (its been years, don't want to return - seen too much weird stuff there)

I'm a member at the Izaak Walton League and was there today, not really conducive to a high road meet though. Maybe we can all hit Clark Brothers.

Don't forget The Cove out in Gore VA. $5 during the week, $12 on weekends. All the shooting you want, no rules, bring anything. Includes camping and fishing.

The Cove was recommended to me from a student in a recent class. I'd be game for checking out a new place.

You DO NOT want to meet at Clark Bros....unless you like paying $$$$$$$$ for ammo.

I'm up for meeting at the Cove. Almost as far for me to drive as it would be from NoVA but I'll come.

The Cove sounds great! As does the Public Shotgun range out near Manassas. Shotguns can be rented and we can all do some trap and skeet shooting.

I'd stay the hell away from Clark Brothers. It gets slammed on Saturdays (not open Sunday) and while the range is "free" you have to shoot their WAY overpriced ammo. I was there on a whim 6 months ago and a box of Wolf 7.62X39 was 10 bucks. Do the math from there.

I'd be up for a Bull Run Shooting Center trip too. It's been a while. Love that wobble trap!

I have heard mention mere rumors mind you of this mysterious Cove. I for one would love to go there and see for myself. We could plan a day of it.

The Cove is a dump...literally. You will need to bring target stands and and 1x2s. There is a new area they plowed out and it hasn't been trashed yet. It's suitable for pistols or very short range rifle work.

You will also need a vehicle with some clearance. I had a difficult time with my compact car. If there's mud, you'll probably need a 4x4.

Clark Brothers and Blue Ridge are icky.

...and that's just half the journey. Then you go on a 4wd trail to the top of their hill where the range is.
