My daughter has put in for the past 5 years for Colorado antelope (she's 15) and finally drew. We picked unit 105 as a friend said he could get access on a ranch towards Bennet. She ended up drawing in the unit for 10-6thru10, but we can't reach the land owner to secure permission now. We drove around a good bit today and "knocked on doors" but ranches are either commercial w/no hunting allowed or already leased to outfitters. Everyone was polite, but the answer was still no. I realize I should figured this out sooner but didn't. This unit is all private land or state land under current grazing leases - so I'm out of options. Any one have any suggestions for ranchers/farmers that might allow hunting or just charge a reasonable trespass fee?
