I have a Mossberg 590 that I picked up used from someone on this board at a good price. While I have always like the 870 I want to give this gun a fair chance so I thought I might try to correct the things that I don't like about it. Other than the fact that it is not nearly as smooth as an 870, the only two things I don't like are the size of both the safety and the slide release. Does anyone make a larger safety button and an extended slide release? Also, I was wondering if there was any way of attaching a sling stud to the left side of the reciever for a single point sling.
