picked up a good looking o/u made in italy---20ga--.
action tight- stock fit to me perfect.
however both barrel fire at same time--always test with one load and one primer only,in barrels.
what do I need to look at after I take stock off???
all suggestions welcomed. if this is over my knowledge then I'll be looking for a gunsmith that works on d/b-o/u shotguns.
know of any smiths that do this work---non in these parts.

thank you for your time

Single trigger or double? If single, is it a selectable or fixed?

Give it a good cleaning, then try it out. Single trigger doubles with selectable barrels can get a little persnickity if they get crud in the actions.

If it still doesn't work after that, find a gun-smith. It's WAY TOOO EZ to damage the components if you don't know what you are doing.
