Where are the decent hunting shows?

I tire of the handholding guided trips to Africa, albeit interesting topic matter and very much the way it is over there, it's getting boring.

And I also tire of the harvesting shows being thinly disguised infomercials. Big Bucks of Tecomate, for example. Sure, they still have to shoot the deer, but c'mon, that deer is trapped within fenced in area in most of these cases.

Admittedly, I only have VS network. So, the honest shows they have, IMO, are the eccentric Tred Barta show and Tim Abell's (sp?) new show where they film the process of getting there more than just the kill shots.

Please name some good shows that don't use hunting ranches, feeders, and cut shooting lanes for their high dollar clients like Jeff Foxworthy. I'm more interested in seeing shows where the average blue collar worker can go out an participate without having to completely sacrifice the budget for the next couple years of family vacation.

Being I only have VS network, I'm hoping to find some good stuff and order it via my Netflix account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've only seen it a couple times as I don't have the Outdoor Channel, but Jim Shockey's show looked pretty good. Most others I think are garbage.
