I just caught the last 15 minutes of a call-in radio show called "State Your Case" on WNOX (99.1FM) talk radio in the Knoxville, TN area.

(I'd prefer to watch some shooting shows on OLN, but they are showing the Tour instead. Go Lance!)

Their guest today was a lady named Mary Lou Escrow (not sure of last name). She was stating her case for gun control in the form of a one-gun-per-month law. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to call in. I didn't even hear a phone number. But the good news is that she agreed to be on the show again two weeks from today as they ran out of time. She was also complaining that all of the callers were pro-gun, but the host set her straight by telling her that they don't prescreen the callers.

So, on Saturday, July 26th, if you are in the Knoxville area be sure to listen to the show. I'm sure many of you will be able to set the lady straight.

WNOX 99.1 FM. 6:00-9:00am. Station website: www.newstalk99.com

Ask her if there should be a one book a month law? Or would it be OK if the Land of Orange only permitted its subjects to go to temple once a month?:D

Fly320--many thanks for the heads-up. You can bet the farm I will try to listen in/phone in. All depends on what time I get in from the prior night's band-gig. BTW, we played at the Alcoa Freedom Fest. Great fireworks!

I would tend to think that she will have very few "allies" unless she does some advance homework, if you know what I mean.:)

I wonder how that woman would feel about having to undergo a background check every time she buys a book or magazine, or apply for a special license before buying a sewing machine, or discover the car she wants to buy has been banned because it's been declared too dangerous for her.

Leftists are moral and intellectual parasites—and wannabe tyrants into the bargain.

BTT.

Just a few days left before the show.

Unfortunately, I will be working and will miss the show. Someone please call in and set the lady straight.

edit: Change in my plans. I will be home to listen and call in.

Let's go for a mass assault.
