I am interested in buying a SureFire E1 Executive.

What is the difference (pros & cons) between the regular model and the hard anodized version?

I can't seem to locate one locally, so where is the BEST place (i.e. price, customer service, availability, etc.) to buy a SureFire E1 online?

 :p :D

Thanks...

I don't think there is any downside to the HA finish. It's more durable. Plus they come with the pyrex lens.
I've bought Surefires from this company. They have good prices and good service.

Natchezss (http://search.cartserver.com/search/search.cgi?cartid=a-7002&category=Section2&maxhits=20&keywords=srefre&pg=3) has them in Gun Metal Gray for $54 and Ultimate Outdoors (http://www.ultout.com/surefire-lights.htm) has them for $46. I know Natchezss has a good reputation. I just placed my first order, for a knife, from Ultimate Outdoors. Ordered it on July 9th and it shipped today, but don't know much about there Customer Service other than that.

LPS Tactical has them for $45 plus free shipping right now. They are a first class, totally reliable company.

I own the e1 gunmetal. Very nice little light.

However, the Arc Lights are better IMO.
The Arc's are on sale right now too. (On the Arc website. GREAT deals!) I own three. Two single triple "A"'s and a LSH-P which uses a 123 lithium battery. I thought (and you will too) that the single triple A's were incredibly bright, but the LSH is *unbelievably bright! The Arc Flashlight company offers extraordinarily good service too.
