I've been considering getting one of these for CC, it looks like it would be a very convienent way to carry. Anybody here have one? How do you like it? Good quality? How secure is it?

I do not have the Beltster brand but something identical I bought a number of years ago from a Florida craftsman I happened to meet at Knob Creek. I am wearing it as I type this. It is an extremely handy belt and I have toted a number of handguns with it...including a Para-Ordnance and Hi-Power. My usual CCW is a Kahr and when I carry it in this belt I don't have to wear too long of a shirt. Keep in mind, the longer the handgun, the longer the covering garment. Therefore, it is really only suitable with casual dress with an untucked shirt (at least down here in S. Fla. where it's too hot to wear jackets and most people don't wear a coat and tie to work.)

Yep.. Didn't like it... Gun, J-frame, was way too snug up against my body.. Most of my pants/belt loops were not compatable with where the gun fit into the belt..

I kinda like the idea, but i do know sweat will ruin the finish on a blued gun.

I made my own a while back and it compared favorably with one that was purchased new. Not as pretty maybe, but certainly worked as well. I wound up selling it with the gun I cut it for. Been meaning to make another, it's really pretty easy to do. Link to the instructions below.
