Who makes a replacement stock for a cz 550 regular barrel? Looking for laminated or synthetic. Don't want to scratch up my walnut.......

Cz sells replacment stocks on thier web page, they have the regular walnut ones and the varmint kevlar one. https://id305.securedata.net/cz-usa.com/merchantmanager/index.php?cPath=23_30_40&mmsid=af0729a12f9586737fceae4b0508f24d

Richards microfit makes some very nice laminate and wood stocks, The CZ 550 is one of the many actions they inlet for. I currently have a thumbhole stock for my savage 30-30 on order with them.

Yeah I'd like a synthetic stock for my 550 American and haven't been able to find one, and the CZ site has never worked. Someone once said HS makes their Kevlar stock for CZ, but HS says they don't sell one for a 550 American. ***!?

CZ's store does indeed work, I've successfully ordered their weaver rail adapter for my 550 varmint.

Other than a richard's microfit, probably your cheapest option for a 550 replacement stock. Everything else I have found is custom and in the $700 neighborhood. CZ only wants $300 for their kevlar one.

I have the same feelings about my CZ550's walnut stock. I baby it. But, I figure I bought it to use it and a few scratches eventually wont be a huge deal. I'll still use my pre-Accutrigger Savage 110 in thick brush though.

Forty years ago I bought a new Remington 700 for $100.00. For years I agonized over every little flaw. But now, after decades of hard hunting and extremely good care, I realize that it's still a beautiful rifle, it just has character.

Now if the same could be said for my appearance. :neener:

cz at one time did this rifle, in something called a 750-e or something like that.
A totally tacty-cool stock. I would email them to see if they still have it.

Here is the 750 link. http://cz-usa.com/products/view/cz-750-sniper/ Neat looking rifle. On the high dollar side. Emailed Boyds, they said they are not Currently making anything for the CZ, but may in the future, depending on demand for CZ stocks.

They have been saying that for years.

Figures it was not on the top of their list. Although I did see a special run on some 452 stocks for a HMR. Maybe that means they are slowly easing into some CZ stuff. Emailed rifle-stocks.com and gun-parts.com about CZ stocks, but no reply yet. Maybe someday.....
