Just curios anyone know how good these (http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_64577_400001001_400000000_400001000_400-1-1)quick detach rings are? I have a Remington 7615 and want quick detach rings so I can use the irons and a scope.
For lazy people they are RedHeadŽ Z-2 Quick-Detach Weaver-Style Scope Mounting Rings.

No reason to think they won't work well but I LOVE the Leupold QD mounting system.

I'd spend the $15 or so extra dollars and get the Leupold QRW. Got a set for a scout mount on an M1A and they have been pretty solid so far.

I've used other vertically split rings and I don't especially like them. You'd have to make sure that when you loosened the rail squeezer the ring would still grip the scope. You don't want your ring alignment to fall apart every time you remove them.
I have used several sets of the Leupold QRW rings and, though heavy, I like them pretty well.

I am partial to the Leupolds, I have never used the rings in the link you provided, so I can't comment on them.
This is how the Leupold looks like.
