Picked this up at a gun show yesterday. The kydex sheath has a curled/bent over bit on the back side that acts like a pocket clip, so you can carry a small fixed blade with you all the time, w/o having it on you belt or around your neck. Very neat little knife. OAL is 7.25", blade is 3.25, ATS-34.
Oh, and he's a nice guy too.;)

I've got 6 Dawson knives now, and my first thought was that Barry was making folders... I'd buy one in a second. Then I read your posts and checked out your photo's.

Nice little blade.

Run ya a little over $200?

I bought my first Dawson way back when Dane and Linda were doing the front work, leaving Barry back at the shop.

Best using knives I own, Model 36 and Bird & Trout... pre-kydex sheaths tho.

Bought a waki from his nephew-in-law, Mike Chisum, number 002... in fact I own three Chisum blades besides the waki.

Nice family of bladesmiths.

Adios

Actually, it was a bit less than that, very reasonable. I've purchased two other knives from him, back in the mid '80s, very stout they were too. This one is more refined, a little scalpel in your pocket.
