Yeah, that little boxy plastic gun with the mag on top that looks like it was left out in the sun too long. Close enough to a rifle, right? :p

how does the feed and extraction process work on that funky magazine? I know the rounds kinda start being carried around at the tip of the mag to go inline with the bore, but after that I'm lost. Is there a good illustrated guide to the firing cycle somewhere?

Thanks!

Nothing mechanical about the magazine. The magazine has grooves that causes the cartridge to turn 90 degrees right before it enters the feed lip. The follower pushes the cartridges towards the molded in groove and the groove guides the bullet around and it comes to rest at the feed lips where it is picked up by the bolt. Everything else is conventional.

BTW, at one conference I signed up to e trained as an armorer for the FN Five-Seven. When we got to the class, all we had were FN P90s. No complaints from us. :D It's a rather simple and clever gun.
