Knife legalities in Georgia

Did some searches, now more confused! Can one carry a knife in Georgia? Do you know if there is a minimum blade length as I have seen both 2" and 3" in different statues. Furthermore, does the concealed permit for Georgia allow the carry of knives? Thanks for your attention. Dave.:)

Dave,

The Georgia Firearms Permit is just that, a firearms permit. It allows you to carry (open or concealed) your firearm to allowed locations.

As far as knives, even with a Firearms permit, you still have to have it visible... You just can't conceal it, and of course it comes off at courthouses, etc...
