Howdy Guys,

Im trying to help out my brother in law here. He wants to buy a pistol that sounds like a Sat. nite special to me so if ya'll could help me out I would appriciate it...

Snub nose revolver, said to look like an S&W chambered in .38Special, Made by L&R Armory.

Any one have any info on this piece at all?

Never heard of it myself. I'd be inclined to tell him to pass. If you can't find any info, he won't be able to find parts either. Mind you, chances are that L&R was an importer and not a manufacturer. That just makes it worse.

Thats what Im begining to think. No one on 3 different sites have ever heard of that brand, in any form. And if it is an importer then your right it would be worse.

I have no idea how much money is involved, but I strongly recommend spending enough to buy a used S&W, Colt or Ruger revolver. Those have "homes" with parts and service available.
