Cabelas sells Rainier and Berrys bullets for a decent price and their shipping cost tops out at under 20 bucks no matter how many you buy. I've been shooting Rainier 155grs in my G23 and they work fine. However, the Berry's I have in other calibers seem better made/more uniform. I like gun shows or Grafs for powders and primers. I use Win or CCI primers. No difference I can tell, at least for casual shooting/plinking.

Any small pistol primer should work. I use a lot of CCI, but only because they're the least expensive near me.

Take a look at the Zero Bullets if looking for jacketed. I've never used WSF in .40 but Titegroup works great for me. Start low with the .40 and work up. :)
