Hi -

we'll be in Pahrump, NV for the next couple months and we're hoping there's a gun show in AZ or NV in November or December - anyone know of any?

Other than the Shot show in Las Vegas, where are other large shows held? We're retired and able to travel and very interested in seeing what's out there in gear and guns etc.

There is the cross roads of the west show in phoenix the first weekend of december. The show is huge and well worth the drive.

I just went to the Las Vegas Gun show this weekend, and picked up a flyer for the next show. It's Dec 15th and 16th at Cashman Field (downtown Las Vegas). it's put on by "Crossroads of the West", www.crossroadsgunshows.com. If you go to the website you can usually get a $1.00 of Coupon.

The crossroads of the west show in Phoenix on 30 Nov-2 Dec is also the Small Arms Review (SAR) show. More machine guns, cannons, etc than almost any other gun show.

The "Big Reno Show" is being held November 30-Dec 1-2 at the Grand Sierra resort (formerly the Hilton Hotel) in Reno.

This show takes up two full ballrooms at the hotel, and is well worth the visit. I'm hoping to get there myself.

For folks from out of town, I think it's worthwhile to actually stay right at the same hotel, so 'stuff' can dropped off in the room and a cold one can be inhaled while resting one's pore ol' tired feets. Mind you, they do have a very useful bar in the area just between the two ballrooms.
